You know the haiku rules here: 1) do not call the PoPo (poetry police) on me for writing these, and 2) please entertain me with one of your own in the commentary if you wish! Also, thanks a bunch to Kristin and EVA for featuring me today on Paint Party Friday!

i love your haiku -
exactly what i needed!
work sucks, boys do too.
Hahaha! Several of these struck a cord with me today but especially "nothing announces I'm here..." Took the girls to a restaurant in our haughty neighborhood last night after a friend assured us it was kid-friendly. It was, um, quiet. Well, until we got there! ;)
Love your haikus! Love you!!

The boys? I must know....
I love that popo
describes someone who....oh I can't do this! : )
Coughing day and night
functioning without delight

WHILE my girl goes "mom! mom! mom!"
Yep that's my life too
Aimee, As always I love your post and I am struggling with a watercolor work in progress. I couldn't help it, I had to try one myself.

My day today:
beastly little boy,
tenacious and determined,
just like his mother.
God help me... ;)
I love these! They are so insightful and funny. I was going to single out my favorites, but I have so many favorites amongst them!
These are hilarious and so beautifully rendered. My favorites would have to be the Elmer's Glue and coffee ones.
On haiku mountain
I leave my own tiny verse,
Writ large in crayon.
I love haiku's,
I tried it some time too but English is not my first language so it's very difficult. Yet, thanks for this inspiration! :)
